This is both to facilitate an understanding of the firm's capabilities by current and prospective clients, and to support the recruitment of talented attorneys and business professionals.


Responsibilities:


  • Help to manage individual attorney calendars which could include scheduling meetings, conference calls, and travel arrangements; learn departmental docketing system as necessary
  • Open and maintain client files
  • Provide clerical support to the attorneys and paralegals
  • Coordinate the monthly client billing process
  • Provide backup overflow assistance to legal secretaries as needed
  • Preparation and formatting of legal documents and correspondence

Requirements:


  • Have familiarity with commercial finance loan terminology and loan types,
  • Excellent writing, grammar, proofreading skills, and meticulous attention to detail
  • Excellent word processing skills and intermediatelevel use of Microsoft Office Suite, pdf editing software, and related legal software
  • Experience using attorney timekeeping and document management systems a plus
  • Familiarity with basic online resources
  • Possess strong organizational and time management skills, and ability to multitask
  • Proven success as a positive team player, as well as an independent worker
  • Ability to excel in a fastpaced environment
