GRG are pleased to be working in partnership with a supply chain organisation based in Worcestershire, who are recruiting an Inventory Coordinator to join their Head Office Team.


You will be responsible for supporting the Customer Service and Order Processing Manager, to maintain an efficient and high quality service by the organisation from suppliers, whilst also maintaining adequate stock levels and flow of goods inwards and outwards.

This role is a permanent, full-time position, working hours are Monday - Friday (8.30am - 5pm).


What will you be doing?

  • Verification of documents including; stock quantities, pricing and orders, equipment required to complete the project, photographic records of site preinstallation of site conditions, site risk assessments, schedule and estimate of run time for works
  • Identification of any potential issues
  • Liaison with installers for stock inventory for goods leaving or to be returned by couriers
  • Communicate with installers to obtain damaged goods and reporting on a weekly basis to line management
  • Liaise with suppliers to identify defects and maintain communication with line management with proposed resolutions
  • Monitor set stock levels
  • Ensure goods are dispatched on time, liaising crossdepartmentally
  • Respond to incoming calls to ensure always providing exemplary customer service
  • Complete additional tasks as required by management

What we need from you

  • Previous experience within a similar inventory administration and customer service position, preferably within a supply chain environment
  • Deadline driven
  • Proactive and resolutions focused
  • Attentive to detail and highly numerate
  • An effective communicator; both written and verbal
  • Strong IT skillsets; Microsoft Office Suite and CRM Systems
