As a support worker in a care setting, you have the skills and experience to make a real difference to the lives of children with special educational needs.

Your knowledge of providing support to vulnerable individuals will be invaluable in this role.


Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Supporting teachers in delivering lessons to pupils with special educational needs
  • Providing oneonone support for pupils
  • Assisting with the development and implementation of individual education plans
  • Supporting pupils with personal care needs
  • Assisting with the management of challenging behaviour
  • Helping pupils to access the curriculum

Requirements:


  • Experience working in a care setting
  • DBS and EWC registration
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
