Hoop HR are so excited to be working with an incredible and well established manufacturer based in Cardiff. This is full-time, and permanent opportunity for an experienced Health Safety and Environmental professional.

This role offers a generous benefit package and salary, offering up to £35,000 per annum.

As well as flexi time, company pension, annual leave entitlement starting at 24 days, plus bank holidays and so much more.


As the Health Safety and Environment Advisor you will be responsible for managing all aspects of Health Safety and Environmental compliance, driving continuous HSE improvement, and ensure HSE objectives are met.


Duties and responsibilities include:

  • Maintain and update all HSE records.
  • Producing specific HSE reports
  • Maintain ISO accreditations.
  • Develop safe working practices and procedures.
  • Conduct relevant compliance checks
  • Risk Assessments, COSHH, audits, SWMS.
  • Provide specific HSE training, including Toolbox talks, refresher sessions, forums etc.
  • Monitor compliance and inspections.
  • Stakeholder management
  • Oversee existing contracts.
  • Liaise with Occupational Health


Our client is looking for an experienced and qualified (NEBOSH or IEMA) professional who has the ability and drive to imbed positive change around HSE practices, across a large organisation.


You will need to be a flexible and available individual who can commit to working on site along with taking on occasional travel.

Ideally the successful individual will have experience working within manufacturing, FMCG, or industrial environments.
