Description
We require an enthusiastic, pro-active individual to become part of a team, based at the Southwark Campus.

The postholder will contribute to the day-to-day delivery of the University's attendance and engagement activities and the extenuating circumstances (EC) procedure.

The role requires collaborative working with Academic School leads on the attendance monitoring procedure, supporting students 'at risk' of non-continuation by providing timely and effective interventions to re-engage the student with their studies in order to help them achieve their full potential and/or identifying barriers to re-engagement.

The skills and experience you will need to be successful:

The post holder must have a strong customer-focused and professional approach for the student facing nature of this team and will be responsible for working to deliver effective caseload management to support re-engagement and retention of students.

They should have practical administration experience and be used to working to support students both face-to-face and online and be used to managing a student caseload.

The post holder will have excellent organisational and administrative skills, meticulous attention to detail, an ability to prioritise workloads and maintain accurate records, meet strict deadlines, and perform effectively under pressure.

Details about the role
We currently have 2 FTE (35 hours per week) positions available as an ongoing/permanent post.

Please note that the University is operating a trial hybrid working model which means a mix of working on site and from home, with 3 days on campus and 2 days working from home.

There will be some weeks where we would require staff to be onsite all week to support service delivery.
