We are looking to appoint a Teaching Assistant to provide high quality, engaging and nurturing support for our school.

Bilsthorpe Flying High Academy is a primary & nursery school educating children from 2-11 years and we have a fantastic and talented staff, driven by a passion for teaching, who are relentless in our pursuit of excellence and our mission to make every day count for our children.

Your core duties will be:


  • Regularly supporting children in their learning including identifying gaps and reporting to relevant staff
  • Assessing the needs of pupils and use detailed knowledge and specialist skills to support pupils' learning
  • Supporting pupils consistently whilst recognising and responding to their individual needs, encouraging interaction and cooperative work with others and engage all pupils in activities
  • Providing objective and accurate feedback as required, to the teacher on pupil achievement, progress and other matters, ensuring the availability of appropriate evidence
  • Support children to ensure that they reach their full potential
  • Deliver interventions to key groups of children as directed
  • Organising and managing appropriate learning environment and resources
  • Be a flexible and supportive member of the team.
