About the Role:

We are thrilled to offer an exciting opportunity to join us as a full-time Grounds Maintenance Team Leader.

Do you have a keen eye for detail and a love for the outdoors? Previous experience is desirable, but not essential, as we provide comprehensive training to all our team members.

You will be expected to work Monday to Friday, from 7:30 to 16:30, with some flexibility based on seasonal demands.

Overtime opportunities are always available, and during the colder and wetter winter months, we aim to finish work at 16:00, ensuring everyone is home before darkness sets in.

As a mobile grounds maintenance team, we cover 3-5 sites per day, making a Full UK driving license essential. If your driving record is clean, that's even better.

Additionally, as we work at schools, a DBS check will be required, but rest assured, we will handle the process for you.

Responsibilities:

• Carry out pedestrian/rideon grass mowing to a high standard
• Utilize strimmers/brush cutters to achieve desired results
• Possess basic knowledge of shrub/border maintenance
• Perform hedge cutting according to client specifications
• Handle leaf blowing/collection during autumn and winter
• Maintain all machinery, vehicles, and work equipment in good working order
• If you don't have a pesticide ticket (PA6/PA1), we will provide training for weed spraying

Salary & Rewards:

In return for your dedication, we offer a competitive annual salary ranging from £24,000 to £26,000, plus bonuses and a pension plan.
