About the role:

Wagner Renewables Ltd is seeking a Technical Sales/Designer to join our growing team. The role involves the design of domestic and commercial solar projects and technical electrical support to our customer base.

Using a range of design tools you will design Solar PV / Battery solutions to suit our customers requirements, you will have the ability to learn quickly, have exceptional attention to detail and be able to use your initiative and manage your own workload.

Part of this role will include the design of electrical schematics and completing handover packs for solar PV and battery storage installations.

Main Duties:

• Design domestic and commercial Solar PV systems in line with customer requirements including the electrical/battery requirements using a range of design tools (training will be given on these tools if required)
• Produce sales quotations in line with designs using in house tools and Sage
• Support with the design of electrical schematic drawings
• Support with the creation of documentation relating to installations
• Manage design/sales projects
• Support clients with project requirements, technical questions and sales enquiries
• Liaise with colleagues reference component part requirements
• Assist in site surveys as required
• Represent the company at external events as required
• Undertake training as required

Essential Skills:

• Exceptional IT skills including Microsoft Office with a particular focus on Microsoft Excel
• Experience in electrical installations or design
• Experience in electrical schematics
• Ability to read and understand architectural and technical drawings
• Good understanding of Maths and English

Desirable:

• Experience in the solar industry
• Experience in Commercial / Industrial installations
• Previous technical design experience
• Previous technical sales experience

Salary:
£28,000.00-£35,000.00 per year

Experience:

• Electrical: 1 year (preferred)

• Full UK driving licence (preferred)
