Purpose
Under the guidance of the BDM Senior Manager and/or the Senior BDM Advisor, this role will provide support in executing the business development and marketing requirements across the Disputes division in London.
In conjunction with the Manager/Advisor, this role will take ownership of pitch opportunities and support on all other aspects of the marketing mix.
Expectations of the role
- Supporting the endtoend pitch management process for standard pitches
- Working with the BDM team to maintain current and accurate credentials
- Drafting marketing collateral and briefing/client notes, as well as working with the practice to ensure marketing collateral is well maintained
- Project management of the UK directory and awards submission process
- Working with Professional Support Lawyers and the business to support the planning and delivery of client mailings, seminars, roundtables and conferences
- Building close working relationships with the practice and other Business Teams to assess the quality, consistency and timeliness of work delivery
Experience required
- Some experience of BD/Marketing in a law firm or other professional services firm is preferred. This could have been gained alongside studies, or as part of an industrial placement
- Degree qualified, ideally in marketing or a related discipline
- Highly PC and IT literate
- Solid project management skills
