    Marks Sattin Executive Search is working with a prestigious HNW Family Office based in Central London to find a highly capable Finance Director at a pivotal time of growth and transition.

    This is a rare opportunity to join a sophisticated, fast-moving organisation with a significant portfolio of investments.

    The Finance Director will report to the Chief Financial Officer (CFO) and lead the finance function through a period of systems transformation and operational restructuring.

    The role will take full ownership of all non-real estate financial matters, overseeing the Real Estate Financial Controller, and developing financial systems to streamline reporting processes.

    The Finance Director will manage the day-to-day operations of the investment finance team, covering accounts, valuations, and consolidated reporting across UK and offshore entities.

    Responsibilities include monthly and annual accounts, tax submissions, cash flow and valuation analysis, managing audits, and acting as a key advisor.

    This broad and high-impact role offers opportunities for mentorship and team development, helping to embed best practices and a high-performance culture.

    Key Requirements

    • Fully qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, or ACMA), ideally chartered
    • Experience in investment or real estate finance, preferably within a family office, fund, or multi-entity business
    • Technical expertise in financial reporting, valuations, consolidations, and cash flow management
    • Commercial acumen and ability to step into strategic leadership roles when required
    • Confidence in managing audits, tax processes, and liaising with external advisors
    • Leadership skills to guide teams through change, including systems upgrades or restructures
    • A collaborative, hands-on approach with the ability to mentor, develop, and inspire finance professionals
