Key Responsibilities:

Responsibilities include:

  • Ownership and enhancement of the annual fitness and propriety and certification process
  • Deliver training to new joiners and existing staff as required
  • Track organisational changes to identify and action any impacts on SMCR
  • Produce relevant MI in relation to certification and conduct activities
  • Assist with the development and maintenance of SMCR related documentation including role profiles
  • Operate the regulatory reference process
  • Ownership and enhancement of the training and competence policies
  • Contribute to regulatory projects as required
  • Assist in creating and delivering departmental and firmwide culture dashboards
  • Assist the Head of SMCR in managing the information provided to key conduct committees

The key skills required to succeed in the role are:


  • Some experience of data analysis, preferably within an HR environment at a bank or large asset manager
  • A motivated individual, who can work autonomously
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to build strong relationships across the business at all levels
  • Able to demonstrate a team approach and to work collaboratively across functions
  • Problem solving skills, capable of handling pressure and meeting strict deadlines
  • High attention to detail
  • Strong MS Excel skills
