Roles


Our client is an fast growing, investment fund-backed renewable energy business that fund (via PPA's), design, develop, install and manage high quality renewable energy solutions in the commercial and industrial space.


They are actively searching for an experienced Asset Manager who will manage both the technical and commercial functions across a range of integrated rooftop and ground mounted solar portfolios owned by their institutional investors.


Roles

  • Developing, implementing and managing schedules of work programmes to improve the safety, quality and performance of our solar assets
  • Work closely with engineering & electrical partners ensuring their work is completed on time, to standard and in budget
  • Understanding the needs and desires of clients, interfacing with operations & maintenance providers to meet (and where possible) exceed client expectations
  • Reviewing budgets, periodic variance analysis and cash management
  • Prepare periodic reports to our Investors
  • Monitoring and analysis of portfolio and asset level performance
  • Identification of improvements to maximise asset performance

Requirements:


  • Knowledge and experience of the solar energy sector would be highly advantageous
  • Degree educated in a relevant field of study
  • Experience in a relevant asset management role
  • Commercially astute and financially literate
  • Ability to work autonomously with mínimal supervision
  • Strong results orientation & problemsolving skills
  • Experience of developing/implementing performance management frameworks including KPIs
  • Passion to drive excellent client service
  • Diplomatic and engaging personality the ability to build and maintain positive relationships with Clients and Contractors, but also the ability to push back where needed
  • Ability to think strategically and prioritise in a fast paced, often ambiguous environment
  • Good degree in any discipline but finance or business management would be ideal
  • Outstanding MS Office skills, in particular Excel (which should be advanced)

Location:
Remote/Work from home plus office and site travel as req.
