FinTech is recruiting on behalf of our client for a Finance Assistant based in Aberdeen. This a Permanent, Part Time position, covering 20 hours per week over 4 days in office.Main duties include:
- Process supplier invoices and credit notes into purchasing system
- Prepare the month end Supplier Payment run and process via the relevant systems.
- Prepare and process ad hoc payment requests.
- Reconcile supplier statements on a monthly basis.
- Input sales invoices and credit notes into accounting system
- Reconcile all bank accounts on a monthly basis
- Assist the Accountant in the preparation of the monthly trade debtors and trade creditors reconciliations as required. Liaise with suppliers, customers, Credit Control Manager and Accountant as required to resolve differences and other queries.
- Arrange bank transfers for the settlement of intercompany balances, monthly payroll and gift aid instalments as directed by the Accountant.
- Maintain the Accounts mailbox, actioning all requests and liaising with staff.
- Provide the Accountant with reports and information, complete ad hoc returns and undertake ad hoc projects as required.
- Assist the Accountant in the completion of month end/year end tasks as required. Participate in the annual internal and external audits as required.
- HND Accounting or equivalent.
- Minimum 2 years' experience working in an accounts role.
- Previous experience of the preparation of reconciliations.
- Working knowledge of computerised financial accounting systems (Sun Accounts Preferred).

Salary:
£12.00-£15.00 per hour
