A brilliant reputable UK charity is recruiting a part-time Project Finance Officer to join the team on a permanent basis.

In this role, you will play a vital part in supporting financial reporting, budgeting, and administration for a portfolio of impactful projects.

As a Project Finance Officer, you will be a crucial link between financial management and project success. This is a part-time position of 3 days with a requirement of 1 day in the London office.

Key Responsibilities

Monitor grant income, accruals, and deferrals to maintain accurate financial records.
Prepare monthly restricted fund reports and collaborate with project managers to investigate variances.
Generate project spending reports for funders as stipulated in grant agreements.
Assist project managers by providing regular budget monitoring reports.
Ensuring proper allocation and coding of expenses.
Collaborate with project managers to address incomplete data and discrepancies.
Communicate with budget holders, Project Managers, and Head of Fundraising to reflect grant payroll budget changes accurately.
Assist in yearend accounts preparation by providing necessary schedules.
Prepare supplier payment runs and organise invoice filing.

Person Specification

Previous experience in financial reporting and management, preferably within a charity or nonprofit context.
Proficiency in financial analysis, budgeting, and reporting.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data management.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration.
Adept at using financial software and tools.
Flexible and proactive mindset, capable of multitasking and problemsolving.
