Tradewind are currently recruiting for a Teacher of Food Technology for one of our client secondary schools in St Helens.

This full-time role is to start asap and will continue until Easter with the potential to continue until the end of the academic year.

Our client secondary school has recently been graded 'Good' by Ofsted.

The successful Food Technology Teacher will be joining an 11-16 secondary comprehensive school with 900 students on roll.

Relationships between students and staff are said to be positive and staff are said to have high expectations of students behaviour.


The essentials:


  • QTS or equivalent
  • Experience teaching Food Technology across KS3 and KS
  • Enhanced Child workforce DBS on the update service or be prepared to undertake a new one
  • Full and complete 10 year career history
  • Minimum of 2 references including your most recent employment reference
  • Legal right to work in the UK
