Production Planner / Scheduler

Location:
Accrington

Salary:
up to £32,000

Hours:
Monday to Friday, 37.5 hours per week, between the hours 7am - 5pm

Our client, a specialist manufacturing business based in the Accrington area are looking for a Production Planner / Scheduler to join their close knit team.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a Production Planner or Production Scheduler to join a well runand an established company.

Your role as the Production Planner will include, but not limited to:

Working on multiple orders
Coordinating stock levels for manufactured goods
Creating production schedules to ensure that the company meet customer needs
Making sure that there's sufficient stock level available for sales
Purchase orders to be raised to procure materials for finished goods
Autonomy to maximise the efficiency of the production
Identifying new or improved ways of working which will result in improved margins for the business
Liaising with customers and suppliers
Identifying and fixing potential delivery problems for customers
Create, maintain, modify Production plans as necessary, fulfilling any additional requirements on an adhoc bases ensuring customer demand is met
Ideally have 2 years or more experience in production planning or production scheduling
Driven and selfmotivated professional who enjoys working under pressure
Highly organised individual with strong communications skills
Proficient in MRP, Sage, SAP and Microsoft Office
Fork Lift Truck licence (not essential)

Hours Mon - Fri 37.5 hours per week, between the hours of 7am - 5pm
