Description

Our client is an established and leading agency that has won multiple awards for their work within medical communications. They are currently in need of a Scientific Director to join their team working remotely from within the UK.

In this role you will act as a lead member of a medical and scientific strategy development and content delivery team.

Working with a variety of projects across different therapy areas, you will liaise with a diversified client base while line managing andmentoring junior members of the team.

Responsibilities:

Provide scientific expertise and guidance to the editorial team, including quality control and review of work
Build strong client relationships and liaise as key client contact
Plan, execute, and direct all facets of a comprehensive strategic healthcare communications plan
Keep up to date on relevant therapeutic areas and scientific development

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

Life science degree, PhD preferred
Significant previous medical writing experience gained within a medical communications agency environment
Line management experience
Excellent communication skills written and verbal
