This is a key role within a small and dynamic finance team. The successful applicant will work closely with the wider business and will build strong relationships with colleagues and suppliers.


As Purchase Ledger Administrator you will support the purchase ledger team as well as the wider finance team to ensure the timely processing of supplier transactions.


My client is looking for a confident communicator who is able to analyse high volumes of data whilst working efficiently and effectively as part of a busy team.

The Job - Purchase Ledger Administrator:

  • Work alongside the Accounts Payable Clerk, supporting with a range of tasks.
  • Process supplier invoices.
  • Manage supplier statement reconciliations.
  • Monitor the purchase ledger inbox.
  • Work closely with supplier accounts, build excellent relationships with suppliers and ensure agreed terms are met.
  • Investigate invoice discrepancies and resolve any internal or external queries.
  • Perform additional to tasks to support the wider finance team.

The Individual:


  • Previous purchase ledger/finance admin experience with a clear understanding of the purchase ledger function.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
  • Enthusiasm and a proactive approach.
  • Keen to learn and take on additional responsibilities to support the wider team when needed.
  • A positive attitude and an eager team player.
