Job Introduction

Sodexo Live has a fantastic new opportunity for a Back of House Supervisor to join our talented team at the ACC Liverpool.


We partner with the ACC Liverpool Group where a variety of national and international conferences; public and trade exhibitions and entertainment events are held.

We are looking for a hardworking and dedicated individual to join us and lead the back of house (BOH) function.


Your focus will be to support the BOH Manager; you will ensure the cleanliness of all areas across the business as well as ensuring that all of the BOH team are working safety, and in line with organisational policies.

You will be responsible for the organization and storage of stock and equipment on site.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

What you'll do:


  • Responsible for the correct operation and cleaning of all machinery, particularly dishwashers
  • Maintain all operating equipment, floors, walls, ceilings and kitchen equipment to the highest standards of cleanliness
  • Ensure that all cleaning schedules for all areas of responsibility are carried out to the required standards
  • Oversee and support all operations on a daily basis.
  • Effectively maintain, manage and develop a core team and provide them with the information and tools with which to achieve their roles
  • Ensure that casual employees are thoroughly briefed and capable of expectations.
  • Issue detailed rosters, staffing effectively whilst controlling costs inline with budgeted payroll.
  • Administer stock stakes on monthly basis reporting on shortages and cost implications.

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE


You will have experience in a similar role and understand the importance of a safe working environment within the kitchen.

You will have an eye for details and continuous improvement and the ability to deliver a first class service under pressure.
