Our client a vibrant, inclusive and progressive Further Education College is looking for an experienced is looking for a Procurement & Contracts Officer that will be based at St.

Albans campus this role can also be partially Hybrid according to the needs of the business.

They need support to undertake the following.

  • Catering Contract
  • Security Contract
  • IT Contracts
  • Estate Contracts


The client also needs to review their end-to-end procurement process and the production of a contracts register which would facilitate the timely retendering of key contracts.


Attributes I've been asked to look for:

  • Attention to detail, analytical and methodical and a grafter always helps.
  • Previous experience of running tenders from specification through to appointment whole process.
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Completer finisher
  • Understanding of college financial regulations
  • Understanding of educational procurement frameworks
  • Good organisational skills
  • Can meet tight deadlines
  • SLT and Committee proposal papers for approval
  • Good reporting skills
  • Good IT skills word, excel etc

£28,895.00-£31,587.00 per year
