SCHEDULER AND SERVICE DESK ADMINISTRATOR

Aaron Access is part of the Aaron Engineering Group, a multi-disciplined group of companies providing expert services, solutions and resource to the Property, Rail and HV Electrical Sectors in the UK.


PURPOSE OF THE JOB:


Working Monday to Friday 08:30 to 17:00 from our Hazel Grove HQ in Stockport, you will take responsibility for all planned and reactive jobs for a contract, or number of contracts, within a sector, to ensure an efficient and professional service to our clients.

You will manage and own jobs to completion, dealing with any actions/escalations required to ensure jobs are completed within contractual SLA and are fully compliant.

You will be responsible for updating and maintaining Fusion for the areas of contract responsibility.

You will provide clear instructions to sub contractors, including the raising of works orders and ensure that all sub contracted work is managed through the life of the job, in order to deliver our contractual KPI's.

You will work in partnership with other departments to ensure engineer availability to meet operational and contractual requirements.


DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES TO INCLUDE:


Scheduling:


  • Ensure a detailed schedule is prepared in advance for each engineer,
  • Ensure that each engineer's works are executed in accordance with the plan,
  • Reschedule and reallocate works when issues arise, to make best use of individual and team effectiveness.

Operational:


  • Adhere to team rosters,
  • Liaise with Engineers and engineering Team Leaders as appropriate,
  • Asset manage customer plant and equipment,
  • Ensure procedures and process are documented and relevant to current environment.

Tasks allocated by management Customer Service:

  • Ensure familiarisation with relevant customers' environments,
  • Liaise directly with engineers and customers regarding planned engineering activities,
  • Foster excellent relationships and communication with telephony teams, engineering teams, suppliers and external customers,
  • Manage own health and safety in conjunction with organisational support systems to ensure a safe working environment.
