This role is to support one of our technology startup clients as they build their supply chain and launch their innovative Smart HealthTech platform in the UK healthcare sector.
The role is part-time on a contrtact basis but we hope and expect to grow this into a wider role of our client grows their business.
The client sub-contract manufacturing and procurement to east Europe and China.Key activities in the role are:
- planning production to a forecast and managing supply risk.
- purchasing and negotiation of leadtimes and costs.
- expediting deliveries from EU and China to the UK.
- managing and reporting supplier performance and KPIs.
- order management in the ERP system.
- liasing with the client and helping to solve their problems.
- it is a client facing role so building positive relations and communication with them (and the suppliers) is critical to the role.
- set up an running regular client update meetings (some travel in the UK is very likely).
- spotting and implementing improvements in any area of the business.
A very exciting opportunity with flexible working and a potential expansion of the role.
Job Types:
Part-time, Temporary contract
Contract length: 6 months
Part-time hours: 15 per week
