Contact: Heather YardleyEames Consulting are working in partnership with a Global Insurance company who are keen to hire a Junior Underwriter in Birmingham to support them with the strategic development of their regional Marine book

  • Underwriting complex risks predominantly across a Marine book of varied risks across namely Cargo, Transportation & Logistics.
  • Determining risk & appropriate pricing based on analysis and market awareness.
  • Preparing renewal quotations and negotiating with both brokers and clients to deliver profitable outcomes.
  • Establishing and then maintaining broker relationships across the region marketing products, and supporting on accounts.


It's essential you have a background in insurance with exposure to Marine products - in return you will be working for a company with excellent market reputation offering a competitive salary and benefits package.
