We are looking for an experienced Sous Chef to join a privately owned and poplar gastro pub based near Dunmow.

This gastro operation is set against a romantic country backdrop, and is a favourite of not just local, but also traveling custom.

The Restaurant

  • Serves a traditional pub classics
  • The restaurant offers a cosy and rustic dining experience
  • Conveniently situated close to Dunmow, Bishops Stortford, Harlow and Chelmsford
The Role

  • As Sous Chef you will be expected to work closely with the Head Chef to ensure that every aspect of the service runs smoothly
- supervising and supporting other staff.

  • Be a competent and comfortable running the team when left in charge.
The ideal Sous Chef

  • We are looking for an enthusiastic selfmotivated professional chef
- good all round kitchen skills,
- attention to detail and a real passion for food.

  • You will have kitchen management experience with a cando attitude to work and must be prepared to & muck in where needed.
  • Will have a minimum of 3years experience at this level
  • Will be a car driver as this is essential due to location

Benefits:

Salary up to £36K DOE
