A great opportunity has arisen at Bridge House Care Home, owned and run by second generation family firm Fisher Care.

We are looking for a dedicated Maintenance Person who is skilled at problem-solving and ensuring our facilities operate at the highest standards inside and out.

If you're passionate about maintaining a safe and comfortable environment for all and have a knack for meticulous upkeep, we want you on our team

Hours:
Mon-Thur 7:30am - 4:30pm

Fri 7:30am - 2:30pm

Role Responsibilities:

Assessment and Implementation:
Assist in evaluating the maintenance requirements of the home and ensure delivery aligns with our high standards.

Documentation and Compliance:
Complete, review, and maintain all maintenance audits, records, and follow policies and procedures outlined in the maintenance folder.

Standards and Quality Control:
Implement actions to meet and maintain maintenance standards across our facilities.

Problem Solving:
Systematically address and resolve day-to-day issues that arise, ensuring mínimal impact on facility operations.

Protecting Service Users:
Ensure all maintenance activities uphold the rights and safety of our service users.

About You:

You have proven experience in a maintenance role, ideally but necessarily in a healthcare or care home setting.

Working knowledge of plumbing, electrical systems, and general building maintenance.

Able to handle physical tasks and have a keen eye for detail.

You possess excellent communication skills and can work effectively both independently and as part of a team.

You are committed to protecting the rights and well-being of our residents.
