Description

One of the world's leading technology component manufacturers to the automotive and associated industries is looking for an Operations Assistant to join the production team in Nottingham.


The main purpose of the role is to perform industrial cleaning activities and support production operations to accomplish both internal and external customer expectations.

This is a 7am - 3.30pm Mon - Thurs role and 7am - 2.30pm Friday.

Holidays are 28 days plus bank holidays.

Salary is £25,000.

Key Responsibilities

  • Responsible for the safe use of cleaning and mechanical handling equipment.
  • Responsible for the completion and recording of preventative maintenance.
  • Responsible for the safe conveyance of units and components within the production facility.
  • Complete daily cleaning duties within the production and warehouse facility.
  • Operate a fork truck or any other portable stacking vehicle safely and efficiently.
  • Work on own initiative and as an integral part of the team.
  • Participate in specific component reclaiming activities when required.
  • Support logistics when required.

You:

  • Counterbalance forklift truck licence
  • Experienced in industrial cleaning
  • Experienced in materials handling
