Reed are working exclusively with a software service specialist, delivering expertise advise in the implementation and ongoing usage of essential business software.
We are seeking highly organised, focused, and experienced Oracle Cloud Service Consultants, who will be responsible for ensuring that the Oracle systems of our clients business customers are operating to highest level, through regular testing and expertise.
From a support perspective, you will be a key contact for the customer to support the raising and triage of cases (incidents, requests for fulfilment, events, problems, and change), the capture and logging of key information, the initial assessment of theincident and where appropriate the fixing of the cases.
Your testing responsibilities will include running of automated test scripts, performing, and documenting manual testing activities and outcomes, and incident management of any testing issues.
Duties:
- Build relationships across the customers business
- Support the customer through troubleshooting and knowledgebase procedures
- Resolve customers solution issues
- Continually review case queues, SLAs and responses to ensure we are providing the highest levels of customer service
- Run automated test scripts and perform manual testing activities following documented scripts
- Continual learning and development; working with your line manager to ensure an appropriate and timely training plan is agreed, in place and being worked to
- Attend both internal and external meetings, and follow up on agreed actions in a timely manner
Essential:

Security Clearance IS required for this role (you are not required to have this now, but you should ensure that you are happy to go through security clearance, including but not limited to being a UK citizen with a minimum of 10 years residencein the UK)

Please note that this role is a fully on-site position in Manchester and NOT a Hybrid/Home-Working role:
- Experience in a HR, payroll, recruitment, accounting, or finance function (HR finance assistant, finance administrator, trainee accountant, bookkeeper)
- Experience of working across multiple functions (e.g., order processing, imports/exports, exchange rates, inventory control, accounts receivable, accounts payable, payroll, general ledger, cash management, credit management)
- Ability to build rapport
- Outstanding listening and questioning skills
- Strong research and problemsolving skills
- Excellent customer service skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Strong prioritisation skills
Desirable:
- Oracle ERP experience
- Oracle HCM experience
- Salesforce experience
- Degree in finance, statistics, economics, or business administration
