Job Description:


Alexander McQueen are currently seeking a Senior People Advisor who will work closely with the Head Office population and wider HR team to provide effective, timely and professional HR service to key stakeholders and employees.


Working in a small HR team, this role will report into the Corporate HR Director acting as the first point of contact for employees based at our Central London HQ ensuring the people experience evokes our brand values at all times.

This role will have a full scope to support end to end with the employee life cycle providing professional and proactive support and advice to the business whilst upholding high standards of administration and compliance.


This is a great opportunity for an experienced people advisor to take the next step in their HR generalist career providing expert advice and guidance on Human Resources issues to our managers.


How you will contribute?- In collaboration with the People Advisor and HR Assistant you will be the first point of contact for HR queries and ER managing Employee Relations, escalating where necessary and directing as appropriate to the relevant teams.- You will advise on a whole range of employee relations issues as and when they arise.


This includes:
contracts, terms and conditions, discrimination, maternity / paternity, dismissal processes, grievances, salary reviews etc.

and manage the administration of these processes when appropriate.- Responsible for providing a seamless and professional boarding experience for all new joiners, ensuring the necessary documentation is in received and in line with current legislation including right to work.

Ensuring new joiners receive the right equipment on their first day and ensure and all inductions and Hr on-boarding is completed.- Sensitively track and manage leavers from the business, collating insights via exit interviews and feeding back to management where required.- You will be the point of contact for HR related projects disseminated out through Kering and within the house for the corporate population.- You will ensure the data integrity of our people system and ensure that all files are compliant with GDPR.- Work in partnership with the HR Shared Service to ensure a seamless payroll process, overseeing Overtime and Casual Workers.- You will keep up to date with UK employment legislation changes, sharing learnings with the wider HR team.

Who you are?- Ideally have a CIPD qualification or equivalent- Previous experience within a People/HR role is essential- Solid understanding of UK employment legislation- Previous experience with Workday is desirable- Highly competent user of MS Office packages, particularly Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint- Excellent verbal and written communication skills- Ability to multitask and prioritise- Strong attention to details- Self-Motivated to develop- Previous experience in a fashion retail environment highly desirable or other fast-paced environment, being flexible in approach to meet the requirements of the business
