    Job Description

    We are seeking an experienced Estimator to join a reputable main contractor based in Livingston. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work on complex projects across various sectors, including commercial, healthcare, industrial, and education.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Preparation of cost estimates.
    • Taking off measurements from drawings.
    • Producing high-quality and cost-effective tenders from first principles.
    • Effective risk analysis.
    • Attending client meetings.
    • Liaising with Commercial, Contracts, Planning, Design, and Operation departments.

    Requirements:

    • Demonstrable estimating experience within the construction industry.
    • Strong knowledge of Scottish supply networks and material prices.
    • A degree in Quantity Surveying or alternative Built Environment discipline.
