HR Advisor - London, United Kingdom - MLC Partners
Description
An NHS organisation based in London is looking for a HR advisor to join them on an initial 3 to 6 month basis.
The Purpose of this role is to for supporting the management and co-ordination of the employee relations casework, ensuring that case work is carried out consistently in an effective and efficient way in accordance with procedures, current legislation andbest practice.
Key Responsibilities include:
- To promote a positive, proactive approach to People management in the Trust, acting as an advocate for an open, fair and transparent employment relations environment.
- To support the Associate People Partner and the People Advisors in the implementation of the People Strategies.
- To manage an employee relations caseload, as well as providing support and guidance to the People Advisors on the management and direction of their own caseloads.
- To provide expert HR advice to site managers on issues such as discipline, grievance, sickness management and employment law.
- To undertake any other duties including projects, or parts of projects, specified by the Senior People team.
- To develop the provision of appropriate training and learning for leaders to support capabilities and promote an engaged workforce.
- Proven track record of working collaboratively and the ability to build relationships quickly at all levels.
- Experience of working within a unionised environment.
- CIPD qualified or equivalent experience.
- Demonstrate problem solving skills and ability to respond to sudden unexpected demands.
