    PRINCIPAL CONCEPT DEVELOPMENT ENGINEER

  • This team consists of seven employees, including Study Managers, Concept Development Engineers, and Flow Assurance Engineers.
  • Developing innovative engineering work on conceptual and FEED projects.
  • Supervising, guiding, and directing project teams to ensure they understand technical details and key features.
  • Business development – identifying opportunities to develop business within or beyond projects.
  • Proposal development – assisting in preparing proposals with technical expertise.
  • Cost control – monitoring project CTRs and actual project activity hours.
  • Financial performance monitoring – delivering projects within specified targets.
  • Creating, checking, and approving project deliverables.
  • Quality control – ensuring all work is carried out according to corporate standards and procedures.
  • Leading Energy Consulting studies in accordance with contract terms and conditions.
  • Managing risk and contractual changes related to contract execution.
  • Organizing and managing the study team to achieve health, safety, environmental, schedule, cost, and quality requirements.
  • Preparing cost estimates for studies and economic assessments of Projects.
  • Fulfilling Study Health and Safety, Environmental, and Quality Management Procedures.
  • SUPPORTING Business Development team on early engagements with prospective clients.
  • Supporting study proposal development.
  • Developing solutions to bring client projects to market.
  • Leads feasibility screening of development concepts.

    • ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS:

    1. Good understanding of Interfaces between various engineering disciplines.
    2. Appreciation of onshore and offshore Oil & Gas facilities engineering as well as new energy sectors such as hydrogen, CCUS, and energy from waste.
    3. Good ability in field development planning and Conceptual design competency for greenfield and Brownfield.
    4. Flexible and responsive approach to achieve Client's requirements.
    5. Presenting and discussing complex issues with Clients as well as project management/commercial aspects.
    6. Planning and forecasting ability.
    7. Good experience in early-stage project development within the oil & gas and/or new energies sectors.
    8. UK and international concept development experience.
    9. Relevant experience in FEED, EPC, Commissioning, and/or Operations.
    10. Proficient in the use of project scheduling, estimating, and cost accounting tools and methods.
    11. Honours degree or equivalent in a relevant engineering discipline.
