Join us in Electronic Trading Risk & Control

  • We're looking for someone with an analytical mindset to help support several electronic trading risk processes, run key controls and manage governance and reporting considerations
  • It's a chance to work with a variety of teams and stakeholders, contributing to some of our key risk management initiatives while building your internal network and profile

What you'll do:


This role will see you analysing risk relating to electronic trading, supporting the delivery of risk management projects and assisting key stakeholders to enhance risk management across Electronic Trading.


Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Monitoring warnings, alerts and alarms associated with certain execution controls
  • Assisting in the investigation and response to electronic trading issues, internal reviews and regulatory inquiries and exams
  • Monitoring existing control frameworks and identify areas for improvement
  • Coordinating with Legal, Compliance, Risk and Technology functions

The skills you'll need:

To succeed in this role, you'll have experience of, or an interest in, financial services businesses including investment banking. You'll have a foundation of technical and analytical skills, together with excellent attention to detail.


You'll also need:

  • A familiarity with equities and fixed income markets regulation, electronic trading concepts and risks
  • The ability to adapt to changing market situations, technology and business needs
