Lean Manufacturing Engineer

£35-£37ph

Temporary Contract

Wrexham
gap technical are proud to be representing this global manufacturing business in their search for a Manufacturing Engineer to work at their facility based near Wrexham

Performance Objectives

Developing and executing plans to accommodate new products and advancing lean methodology
Creating, justifying and owning capital expenditure budgets and plans
Coordination between Operations and the Manufacturing Engineering
Relationship management responsibility with external contractors and suppliers of production equipment and tooling
Application to detail to facilitate best practice in Lean Manufacturing with a No Faults Forward philosophy

Person Specification

Degree/HNC in Mechanical Engineering (or equivalent experience)
An engineering background with experience of lean methodologies / process improvement using tools such as 5S, Visual controls or exposure to TPS
The ability to plan and orgainise work schedules to meet deadlines
Able to build excellent working relationships with internal and external customers
