    Description

    Our organisation is seeking recent Physics graduates from the 2022 and 2023 classes who have completed modules in Electromagnetics/Electromagnetism as part of their degree.

    We are a leading Aerospace & Defence company offering a unique opportunity for trainee Electromagnetics Engineers to join our team on a hybrid-working schedule of 2-3 days per week at our Warton, Preston (PR4) site.

    To be eligible for this role, applicants must possess Security Clearance (SC).

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Performing tasks related to requirements, design, implementation, qualification, and testing within established schedules and estimates.
    • Maintaining adherence to relevant engineering practices.
    • Reporting progress and providing feedback to team members and leadership.
    • Producing technical documentation.
    • Collaborating with suppliers and industry partners.
    • Supporting customers with delivered systems and resolving issues.

    Essential Qualifications:

    • A degree in Physics.
    • Fundamental knowledge and understanding of Electromagnetics Engineering.
    • Proven experience using Microsoft Office tools such as Outlook, Word, Excel, and/or PowerPoint.

    Desirable Skills:

    • An understanding of the overall systems engineering lifecycle.
    • Knowledge of Design IT tools, e.g., CAD systems.
    • Experience working within a large, complex, multi-project environment.

    Salary: £40,000 - £60,000 per annum.
