Now, thanks to a 3-year award from The National Lottery, Kent Coast Volunteering is pleased to be recruiting to various uniquely shaped roles that will support local people to find meaningful and accessible volunteering opportunities.

We will also provide the support that enables organisations and local groups to develop best practice in volunteering and the running of their organisations.


  • Hours: 21 hrs pw
Fixed Term: 3 Years - generously funded by The National Lottery Community Fund

  • Salary: £15,251 (pro rata of £25,419)
  • Location: Hybrid (working from home and our Deal office)
Annual Leave: 17 days (pro rata of 28 days)


The Role:
Working as part of a team, the post holder will
:

  • Co-ordinate the passage of KCV's Volunteer Centre Quality Accreditation (VCQA) which covers five functions: Strategic Development of Volunteering, Good Practice Development, Developing Volunteering Opportunities, Acting as a Voice of Volunteering and Providing an Efficient Volunteer Brokerage Service.
  • Coordinate the passage of KCV's Local Infrastructure Accreditation which supports Volunteer Involving Organisations (VIOs) in four ways: Leadership and Advocacy; Bringing Networks Together; Community Development, and Leading a Culture in which Volunteering can thrive.
  • Be responsible for policies and procedures that support the recruitment, retention and management of KCV's volunteers (approx. 350).
