The Company
The Role
- Operation of a counter balance for transporting products within the yard area
- Manually packing steel products and manually placing on the pallets
- Quality inspection on steel products, checking for damage and defects in the manufacturing process
- A positive attitude and are willing to learn more skills on the job
- The role will be based both inside in the manufacturing area, and outside in the yard area
- Loading and unloading wagons on occasions when required
- Labelling and shrink wrapping pallets when required
- In date counterbalance license essential
- To maintain the company's health & safety standards at all times, including general
The Person
- Must have a valid counter balance forklift truck
- Be able to work both individually in a team
- Must be comfortable with the role being primarily manual handling, with 25% counter balance forklift truck driving
- Should be able to start almost immediately
- Comfortable working on both days and nights rotations
