This role is within the Defence space and will be supporting live operational voice and data platforms.

Initially supporting Project managers, Designers and Service Introduction teams to take systems through the AIS (Acceptance Into Service) process to allow systems to be brought under the support of the live operational team.

What you'll be doing

Collaborative working between different teams in the business is essential to help deliver complex solutions and to keep those solutions maintained to meet our contractual obligations
Defining and developing policies that enable the successful acceptance into service of complex and secure systems and create tailored documentation to enable through life management of these technical solutions. Continuous Improvement is a must, as a team we are always looking for better ways of working
Undertaking any provided bespoke training to develop skills and understanding to support you in your daytoday duties. A proactive cando attitude is required to help drive the team forward to provide a professional service for our customers and the business unit
Compliance with JSP604 and JSP440 (Defence Networks Governance) will ensure accreditation of the live systems is gained and maintained
Coaching, mentoring, and supporting other team members, providing feedback where appropriate within the team to ensure that everyone is included and reaching their full potential

What we would like to see on your CV

Experience of Avaya Aura Unified Communication Core and knowledge of Avaya Aura R8.1 and Adjuncts
Experience of System Manager (SMGR) and knowledge of SIP based IP Telephony
Experience of Avaya Session Manager (ASM) and Communication Manager (CM)
Experience of Avaya Aura Media Server (AAMS) and Avaya Session Border Controller for Enterprise (SBCE)
