About The Service

The Managed Accommodation Service forms part of the Specialist Housing Section and provides High quality, long term affordable accommodation to those that have faced or experienced homelessness.

Through multiple locations across Cardiff, site management deliver the following provisions:

Dedicated housing management service
Repairs and maintenance service
Support Services

The service is a new way of meeting the needs of those who require accommodation, creating an exciting opportunity for individuals to join the team as the service develops and grows in the future.

About the job
We are recruiting for Managed Accommodation Officer (nights) to work within our newly formed Managed Accommodation Service.

The post holder will be responsible for:
Providing efficiency in Housing Management

Ensuring that Health and Safety and building Maintenance is adhered too

Provide brief intervention to ensure residents are supported

What We Are Looking For From You

You will be a driven person, showing a commitment to the service with the ability to foster positive relationships with both internal and partner organisations.

You will be able to show that you are dynamic, motivated and creative Behaviours and an understanding of the issues faced by homeless individuals will be an advantage.

The post holder will be able to remain calm under pressure expected to maintain and develop their knowledge regarding legislation and introduce new initiatives and procedures to drive forward standards across the service.

Additional information
The roles will form part of on call rota, outside of normal office hours.

A full and valid driving licence and access to own vehicle is an essential requirement of these roles.
