We have the opportunity for you to join our team as a QA Supervisor working 08:00 to 16:30 Monday to Thursday, 08:00 to 15:15 Friday, in this role you will have key responsibilities to ensure that products are manufactured to the correct safety, legality and quality standards and to continually challenge and improve the monitoring/ control systems.

Using correct implementation of the Quality Management System.

Working in conjunction with all relevant departments to provide guidance and coaching to ensure compliance against QMS and customer technical standards.

Some of what you can expect to be doing includes:

• Lead, train, coach and motivate the QA and Production team and drive a culture that promotes the continuous improvement of both product quality and factory standards.
• To ensure that the traceability system is complete and challenged regularly to ensure compliance highlighting any deficiencies with the Operations Manager.
• To investigate factory nonconformances and ensure that the necessary corrective actions are taken.
• To participate in ensuring that the factory is 'audit ready' for ISO 900
• To ensure that Customer concern investigations are carried out by the Operations/ QA team in a timely manner with root cause being identified where possible.
• Ensure all equipment used in the manufacture of product are calibrated by appropriately trained personnel and at an appropriate frequency. In addition, ensure any calibration equipment requiring repair is done so, in a timely manner.

• Experience in a similar role in sheet metal fabrication / manufacture
• An engineering background would be advantageous.
• Experienced internal auditor.
• A good understanding of practical problem solving / root cause analysis.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills including both written and verbal communication.
• Able to supervise team members directly and indirectly.
• Health & Safety experience would be advantageous.
