OUR BUSY TRANSPORT TEAM ARE LOOKING FOR AN EXPERIENCED HGV CLASS 2 HIAB MERCHANT DRIVER TO JOIN THE TEAM. THIS DRIVING ROLE IS UNLIKE MANY OTHERS AS IT OFFERS DRIVERS A GOOD WORK/LIFE BALANCE IN A BEAUTIFUL PART OF THE COUNTRY.

Duties will include:


Reporting to the Transport Planner in a team of over 50 drivers, the key accountabilities for the role will be to collect and deliver aggregates, sands, soils and site waste across the South, maintaining and driving an appointed vehicle and completing associated documentation.

This role is for multiple vacancies across our Transport Division, with the ability to drive various Classes of Vehicle, and across multiple sites and both Commercial and Domestic properties.


Our driving roles are locally based with no over-night stopping and no late evenings, providing you with a great work/life balance for a driver.

We operate a variety of trucks and want our drivers to be multi-skilled and we provide the necessary training.

Our fleet includes; 4 Wheel Tipper, 6 Wheel Tipper, 8 Wheel Tipper, Skip, RoRo, Concrete Mixer, Hiab, Tankers and Articulated vehicles.

  • Valid LGV Licence


As the face of the company, you will be driving our largest artic vehicles around the community, so we are looking for someone with a professional, reliable and can-do attitude to work.

To ensure that the Company's activities comply with legislation and regulation concerning Health, Safety and Welfare, Quarry Regulations, Environmental and Quality control the role will be required to learn, understand and adhere to all policies and procedures.
