    Quantity Surveyor - High Rise Developer

    This is an exciting opportunity for a talented Quantity Surveyor to join our client, a prominent high-rise developer in Manchester. As a key member of the team, you will play a crucial role in delivering innovative and high-profile high-rise projects.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Cost Management: Prepare detailed cost estimates, budgets, and financial reports to ensure projects are delivered on budget.
    • Procurement: Manage the procurement process, including tendering and contract negotiations, to secure the best possible deals.
    • Contract Administration: Administer contracts, ensuring compliance with agreed terms and conditions, and managing any variations or changes to the scope of work.
    • Project Monitoring: Monitor project costs and report on cost control, ensuring projects are kept within budget.
    • Risk Management: Identify and manage risks, ensuring that all potential issues are mitigated and resolved.
    • Team Collaboration: Liaise with contractors, subcontractors, and stakeholders to ensure smooth project delivery.
    • Support and Advice: Provide support and advice to senior management and project teams as required.

    Requirements:

    • Experience: Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor, ideally within the high-rise or construction sector.
    • Skills: Strong understanding of cost management, procurement, and contract administration, as well as excellent numerical, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
    • Education: A degree in Quantity Surveying or a related field (RICS accreditation is desirable).
