The Sustainable Earth Institute (SEI) brings together researchers, businesses, community groups and individuals to develop cutting-edge research and innovative approaches that build resilience to global challenges.

The SEI link diverse research areas across the University including science, engineering, art, humanities, health and business.


This is an exciting opportunity to join us as Senior Communication, Marketing and Events Administrator supporting the agenda of the SEI in a key role working with a wide range of stakeholders to promote research and sustainability.


We are looking for an experienced communication, marketing and events administrator with a knowledge and passion for communication, who can work collaboratively with a range of stakeholders and across wide range of research areas.

You will have excellent communication and event management skills and the ability to develop and maintain strong and effective working relationships with colleagues and external networks at all levels.

The ability to work independently and prioritise your time will be essential.


Reporting to the Project Compliance Manager and Manager of the Sustainable Earth Institute, you will work alongside other members of the wider professional services teams.

This is a part-time position working 29.5 hours per week on a permanent basis.
