Description

Operate power tools and hand tools to perform blasting tasks

Prepare surfaces for painting or welding by blasting away dirt, rust, or old paint
Follow safety procedures and guidelines while handling and operating blasting equipment
Maintain and clean blasting equipment to ensure proper functioning
Assist with other duties as assigned

Previous experience working in a workshop or similar environment is preferred
Ability to operate power tools and hand tools effectively and safely
Basic mechanical knowledge to assemble and disassemble equipment
Familiarity with basic math skills for measurements and calculations
Ability to fabricate and weld is a plus
Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately

Note:
This position may require physical exertion, including lifting heavy objects and working in various weather conditions. Safety protocols must be followed at all times.

Pay:
From £12.50 per hour

Expected hours:
No less than 40 per week
