We have an exciting opportunity for an energetic and enthusiastic part time
Customer Service Advisor to join our team at
Jewson Southampton (SO19 9FH) working 25 hours per week

As a
Customer Service Advisor, your role will be essential to keeping our branch and yard running smoothly. From serving our customers at the trade counter and in the yard to monitoring stock and growing our sales, you'll be at the heart of our operations

We're a busy and well established branch of Jewson builders' merchants with a friendly team who pride ourselves on offering a great service and excellent product knowledge.

We have a sales office, warehouse, yard stores, shop & counter, timber supply and customer delivery vehicles.

Hours of Work:
This is a part time position working 25 hours per week - shifts can be discussed at interview.

So, what will you be doing?

Our
Customer Service Advisors are important contributors to the performance of the business and to ensure our customers have a positive experience with us.

To support our customers effectively you will;

Get to know our product lines and services in order to make the most of all customer interactions
Develop great relationships with new and existing customers, over the phone and in branch
Understand customers' needs to provide proactive advice and solutions
Help to prepare customer orders, load and unload customer and supplier vehicles using a Fork Lift Truck to minimise manual handling (training will be provided)
Maintain stock levels, carrying out regular stock counts
Make Health & Safety a priority and demonstrate how you can keep yourself and others safe at work
Work with colleagues to suggest opportunities for improvement
