Our client is a leading UK specialist manufacturer of high-pressure water jetting pumps and equipment. Operating globally, our client is looking for a new Sales Manager to join their small friendly team.


(Sales Manager) - Position Overview

  • Expand customer base
  • Support existing customers
  • Follow up existing & generate new enquiries
  • Increase market share
  • Raise company profile
  • Carry out demonstrations
  • Train computers in basic operation and maintenance / commission equipment
  • Attend exhibitions
  • Extensive UK travel (and overseas travel anticipated 6 to 12 months)
  • Factory based role

(Sales Manager) - Position Requirements

  • Mechanical engineering qualification (advantage but not essential)
  • Hands on experience and/or interested in mechanical equipment
  • 3 years proven track record in sales of specialist capital equipment (e.g. pumps, industrial cleaning equipment, industrial plant, rotating equipment etc.)
  • Sales driven
  • Customer focused
  • Passion for the product being sold
  • Proactive
  • Dynamic
  • Export sales experience (advantage but not essential)

(Sales Manager) - Position Remuneration

  • Company car (or allowance)
  • Laptop and mobile phone
  • Company credit card
  • Workplace pension scheme
  • 25 days holiday (plus statutory holidays)
  • Private health care (after qualifying period)
  • 8:00am5:00pm Monday to Friday (30 minute lunch break)
  • 3 month trial period
  • Starting salary £35,000 plus commission
