Market Data Vendor Manager

This role involves managing vendors and ensuring cost-effective market data services are provided to meet business requirements.

The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of market data products, banking functions, inventory systems, processes, and procedures.

Key responsibilities include:

Providing direction and management for vendor-facing activities within Market Data Commercial Management
Acting as a point of escalation for contract and business-related issues with the team
Managing training and skills enhancement of the team
Proactively managing a specified group of vendors on behalf of Market Data Financial Management

Required skills and expertise:

Previous experience in a Vendor Manager/Commercial Manager/BA role within Market Data in the financial services sector
Proven knowledge of Market Data Vendor Management and contract negotiations
Knowledge of Market Data Banking functions
Good understanding of market data inventory systems, processes, and procedures

Salary and Contract Details:
This position is available on a hybrid basis, with 2 days per week in Glasgow. The initial contract duration is 6 months, with rates of £500 per day inside IR35.
