£10m in funding and becoming one of the most exciting start-ups in the UK today.

We are about to enter the next phase of our growth journey, and to help ensure we scale effectively, we're hiring our first-ever Founder's Associate to sit alongside our two founders, Aaron & Dan, to help facilitate all things partnerships and operations


What you can expect from the role:

As a Founder's Associate, you will work with our two founders, Aaron & Dan - helping to support everything from putting together materials for partners to facilitating payroll.


You should expect the role to be extremely varied and fast-paced, but below is a flavour of the type of work you can expect to be doing as part of your day-to-day.


Help us win and grow key strategic partnerships:

  • Source and map out org charts at potential targets, identifying who it is we should be looking at and why
  • Produce partner collateral such as decks and white papers to help us win deals
  • Lead on partner due diligence & data requests
  • Managing existing partner's reporting and account management requirements

Take care of the admin to allow for smooth day-to-day operations:

  • Project manage and co-ordinate strategic initiatives across the organisation
  • Coordinate and manage key aspects of the employee lifecycle, including the hiring process, employee onboarding and offboarding processes
  • Run, analyse and report on our ongoing employee engagement & productivity surveys
  • Organise and facilitate team events, offsites, leadership away days and other company rituals
  • Facilitate monthend processes like bookkeeping & payroll
  • Setup up and manage the company share option scheme and share registers

Ensure we stay compliant as we grow:

  • Document and optimise internal processes & policies.
  • Support monthly investor reporting requests and compliance
  • Work with our legal counsel to support any contract reviews
  • Manage Ember's compliance and regulatory reporting requirements (FCA, AML & ICAEW)

Note:

While we are a remote-first company, due to the role's close collaboration with our two founders, this role will be primarily based within our WeWork office space in Central London.


Experience and skills that are important for the role:
Given the varied nature of the role, we don't expect you to have experience prior across every area of the spec (although any prior experience is always nice to see), rather we're looking for someone with:

  • Proven experience in a strategy, operations, consulting, or similar multifaceted role.
  • A strong sense of ownership and drive, with a proactive approach to tackling challenges and seizing opportunities.
  • Highly adaptable, with a proven track record of thriving in dynamic environments and navigating ambiguity.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the aptitude to engage effectively with all levels of the organisation and external partners.
  • Strong project management abilities, capable of leading complex projects to successful completion.
  • Exceptional analytical and problemsolving skills, with the ability to derive insights from complex data.
  • Fastmoving, hardworking and low ego
