Warehouse Crew LeaderScope of the Role:
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- To actively observe and adhere to Filtrona's policies including Equal Opportunities together whilst actively promoting and delivering the Filtrona Company Values.
- Take a lead role in reviewing and writing risk assessments and SOPs and ensure they are effectively reviewed within the agreed time frame.
- Conduct & host STEP walks on the Nottingham site. Report any safety issues on the ESG system.
- Ensure stock is picked, packed and dispatched for customer orders in a timely, accurate manner.
- Safe use of the MHE fleet including the use of the fleet management system.
- Organise, plan and delegate work effectively.
- Lead cycle counts, stock take and involvement in general inventory transactions.
- Ensure accurate receipt of stock from internal/ external suppliers.
- Use of the WMS to book in stock, complete transactions and queries.
- Ensure that operators are following the rules and procedures of the factory (ISO 9001, 14001, OHSAS 18001 BRC and OHSAS)
- Support the recruitment and training of new employees.
- Raise nonconformances for stock discrepancies and sign off non well as attending the quality meetings to represent the warehouse department.
- Be involved in STEP, KPI and 5S.
- Proactively promote the health, safety and wellbeing of all Filtrona employees.
- Communicate with other departments throughout the business.
- Promote continuous improvement.
- Proactively demonstrate and rolemodel behaviors which support the company's vision, values and corporate policies.
- Report to your Line Manager any staffing, resourcing, absence or other management issues.
- Attend meetings at the request of your Line Manager.
- Conduct staff PDRs and deliver objectives set out in PDR process. Identify staff training needs and report back to the Line Manager.
- Ensure that all Health, Safety and Environmental Polices relating to the work area are adhered to at all times.
- Ensure adherence to the current Housekeeping and Hygiene Policies and promote continuous improvements.
- Monitor and ensure adherence to group and regional policies and procedures and compliance with relevant UK legislative requirements at all times.
- Work with Compliance, HSE, Quality and Facilities departments to ensure that a process for every procedure is defined, maintained and continually assessed/reviewed for improvement including SOP's, RA's and COSHH.
- To carry out other duties as is within the scope, spirit and purpose of the role as requested by your Line Manager.
- As duties and responsibilities change, the job description will be reviewed and amended in consultation with the job holder

£24,680.00 per year
