Assembly Operative

Job Role

Our well-established client based near Corby, Stamford and Oakham, who manufacture products for Bentley, Jaguar and JCB is currently looking for manufacturing staff.

You will be required to work in their Assembly Team Dept. putting together parts working with machinery and/or hand tools, as required.

Responsibilities:

Familiarity with hand tools (drills, spanners, rivet gun etc.)
Follow build instructions and ensure quality standards are met
Working in a manufacturing Department
Able to follow manufacturing and quality procedures and standards

Person Specification

Assembly experience is desirable but not essential
Experience in a manufacturing environment
Attention to detail and methodical approach to work
Maintain a safe and clean workshop and adhere to safe working practices
Good Communication skills
Previous skills or qualifications within carpentry, machining or engineering environment would be advantageous but not a necessity as full training will be given the right blend of a great attitude and willingness to learn just as important.

Hours of Work and Pay
- £12.00/hr inc shift premium
