Our client is a global leader in the design and manufacture of specialist products used in a range of industry sectors around the world.
They are currently recruiting for a Project Execution Engineer to join their Northumberland based site on a permanentbasis.
The Project Execution Engineer will be required to perform a variety of tasks which will include having full responsibility for all technical aspects of the given project/product assigned - including design, engineering cost, engineering schedule, customerinterface for technical aspects, and internal interface.
Please Note:
International / Domestic travel will be a requirement of this role; therefore, a valid passport and the ability to travel is required.
The Project Execution Engineer Role
The Project Execution Engineer has responsibility for delivering the engineering package that is compliant with the client contract as well as with company standards.
Others have the responsibility of delivering the items to the Project Execution Engineer(contract specs, engineering estimates, total weight, design outputs, etc.) but the Project Execution Engineer will ultimately be responsible for the production of all engineering deliverables on time and accurately.
Other requirements include:
- Being the primary point of contact between customer and the company on technical issues for a given project.
- Maintaining engineering deliverables and advising the Project Manager of any risks or changes accordingly. Maintaining total engineering cost (including hours and cost vs. assold estimate) and advising Project Manager of risks and opportunities.
- Reviewing client change requests technically and advise Project Manager of impact to engineering and scope.
- Directing various engineering resources as necessary to obtain engineering deliverables on time and accurately.

About You
The successful Project Execution Engineer will have previous experience in an industrial or manufacturing company within a technical role.
You will have excellent attention to detail, the ability to work in an organised manner and have a continuous improvementmentality and receptive to change.
Other requirements include:
- BEng/BSc Mechanical Engineering (or other Engineering discipline)
- Project Management Qualification and IMechE status
- Autodesk Inventor and AutoCAD certified user or professional
- Previous experience gained within the industry or similar industries i.e. Mechanical, Electrical, Civil, O&G, Energy and Power Generation.
- Knowledge and capability with drafting products (ideally Autodesk)
